Blogging
According to Wikipedia, a blog is a user-generated website where entries are made in journal style and displayed in reverse chronological order. One blog we can access within the district is www.easyjournal.com. To start, please visit the new blog I started this weekend at http://www.deirdre617.easyjournal.com. Please post a suggestion.
While searching for blogs about Children's Books, I found these examples.
Kids Literature Blog
The Longstockings
Hip Librarians Log
Book Talking with the Book Dragon

Task 2
Use the search engine below to find a blog about a topic that pertains to education or your tech fair project.
Google Blogsearch

Teaching Books: TeachingBooks.net
This is a website that collects all the information (author interviews, teaching guides, book readings, etc) about a book and puts it together for you. You don't have to go searching all over the internet to find these resources, the creators of Teachingbooks.net have done it forus. We will be giving out the password in class. Click here to read the mission statement and a few words from the creator, Nick Glass.

Task 3
Explore Teachingbooks.net. Find 3 different resources thatyou can use in class to help your students better understand what you are reading. See if you can incorporate at least one of these resources into your tech fair project.
